Puget Sound Bird Fest

Bird Fest: The Puget Sound Bird Fest runs Sept. 11-13 in Edmonds and includes speakers, guided walks, land- and water-based field trips, exhibits, kids activities and more.

Admission is free except for items marked for advance registration. 

Puget Sound Bird Fest Schedule




The location for the Friday evening, September 11 Keynote Speaker, John Marzluff, will be the Edmonds Plaza Room, 650 Main Street.  The Saturday, September 12 speaker presentations will take place at the Frances Anderson Center (FAC), 700 Main Street, and in the Plaza Room. The Registration Table, Exhibits, and Kids Activities will also be in the Frances Anderson Center.  General admission to Puget Sound Bird Fest is free.  Please visit the Registration Table before attending any speaker presentations on Saturday.  Last-minute changes will be listed there. Advance registration through Edmonds Parks & Recreation Department is required for certain field trips, denoted with this symbol: $. Registration will start August 3.
 
The Frances Anderson Center will be closed Sunday, September 13.  Please see Festival Program for more information.  See the Event Map for locations of other Bird Fest activities around town.  Parking is free on the streets and in public parking lots in Edmonds.  Some parking areas have a three-hour limit.  Access & parking in the downtown core area on Sunday will be restricted, due to the Edmonds Classic Car Show.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on guided walks and field trips.
