EVENT DESCRIPTIONHistoric Downtown Snohomish has partnered with Snohomish Festival of Pumpkins Snohomish County Volunteer Search & Rescue for this event! 

Starting on September 10, pumpkins may be adopted by purchasing $5 tickets at participating locations in and around Snohomish. Tickets are numbered, and corresponding numbers are placed on each adopted pumpkin. 

On race day, a Search and Rescue Team will plop all the adopted pumpkins into the river to float them on the tide toward the Avenue D Bridge. The first pumpkins “rescued” from the river at/near the bridge are the declared the winners! Prizes will be awarded!
